INKWELL
Halekulani is pleased to present INKWELL, an exhibition highlighting the recent works created by the University of Hawaii at Manoa printmaking studios. These prints reflect the diversity of printmaking techniques utilized in a contemporary academic context, expressed through the handmade media of stone lithography, screen printing, relief printing, mono printing, and book arts. Contributors include all students in the ART 318: Intermediate/ Advanced printmaking course during this current semester, teaching assistants, and the studio manager.
With a facility spanning 7000 sq. ft, the printmaking studio in the Department of Art and Art History at the University of Hawaii at Manoa is one of the largest hand printmaking studios in a university setting in the world. The UHM printmaking studio strives to provide an inclusive curriculum for both material technical execution and conceptual inclusion of a diverse range of contemporary topics and conceptual considerations.
Gallery Hours: 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
