The Halekulani Bakery & Restaurant is the first branded food and beverage outlet outside of Halekulani, located across the street at sister property Halepuna Waikiki. With state-of-the-art European equipment and a highly-trained international staff, the bakery provides incredible delicacies with attentive service.
If you want to experience true Bakery Fresh, the baked croissants are brought out at 6:30 am, 12:20 pm, and 3:00 pm Yakitate-style (right out of the oven.) Or you can watch artistry in action at the chocolate-viewing kitchen where guests are able to observe the delicacies being made daily, including Halekulani’s signature dragees, the classic chocolate macadamia nut pearls. The all-day dining restaurant focuses on locally sourced ingredients in a relaxed setting. In addition to indoor seating, outdoor lanai seating is available for those who prefer to “grab and go.”
Halekulani’s Executive Pastry Chef, Mark Freischmidt, leads the bakery operation, working with Head Baker, Tatsuhiro Kaneshiro, from the acclaimed Imperial Hotel Tokyo, who brings the classic art of bread making with him.
