Hawaii Food & Wine Festival 2025: Honolulu

The Hawaii Food & Wine Festival is the premier culinary destination event in the Pacific and the largest food festival in Hawaii showcasing our islands’ rich agricultural diversity and homegrown culinary talent through world-class dining experiences.  Co-founded by two of Hawaii’s own James Beard Award-winning chefs Roy Yamaguchi and Alan Wong, the event brings together more than 150 internationally renowned master chefs, sommeliers, and mixologists in approximately 20 events.  The 15th Annual Hawaii Food & Wine Festival will conclude on a high note with Washoku to the World – Gala Dinner at Halekulani.

This year, five world-class Japanese chefs take the spotlight to present a five-course wine-paired dinner inspired by the principles of washoku—a culinary philosophy so integral to Japan’s cultural identity that it has been recognized by UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. Rooted in seasonality, balance, and respect for nature, each dish reflects the thoughtful techniques and deep traditions that define this revered cuisine.
