Chef Shaden Sato, our Banquet and Events Chef oversees all aspects the Banquet Department’s cuisine. Sato has created special menus for events at the hotel including the Hawaii Food & Wine Festival’s Annual Gala dinner. His dishes have also been showcased at the prestigious Imperial Hotel in Tokyo’s Annual Hawaii Fair. Active in the community, Sato serves on the Leeward Community College Culinary Arts Program Advisory board and mentors culinary students. His vision is to continue sharpening his culinary style by always striving to use locally sourced and sustainable ingredients.
