MEETING & EVENT VENUES
Halekulani Ballroom
The lavishly appointed Halekulani Ballroom seats up to 300 guests for banquets and can accommodate up to 500 guests for cocktail receptions. This 4,300 square foot ballroom is elegantly paneled in teak and has light fixtures designed from Hawaiian artifacts.
The ballroom is an open space with no pillars, so every guest has an unobstructed view. There is also a foyer for registration and pre-function cocktail receptions.
The Halekulani Ballroom can be divided into two rooms, for added flexibility.
Kalia & Kiawe Rooms
The 621 square foot Kalia Room and 515 square foot Kiawe Room are located on the second floor of the historic Main Building. Both rooms overlook a tranquil courtyard, ensuring intimacy and privacy.
Each room is perfectly suited for smaller corporate meetings, private events and banquets for 20-40 guests. By combining the two rooms, we can accommodate up to 70 guests.
Hau Terrace
With windows on three sides, Hau Terrace brings an immediate sense of place and occasion to your event. The terrace and lanai combined offer almost 5,000 square feet of space. Hau Terrace seats up to 120 guests for banquets and can accommodate up to 300 guests for cocktail receptions on the lanai.
Located on the second floor, Hau Terrace overlooks our pool, Waikiki beach and provides captivating, unobstructed views of Diamond Head.
Executive Conference Room
The Executive Conference Room is a contemporary, private setting for meetings. This 364 square foot space can seat up to 14 guests. With the latest in sophisticated technology, it provides the place to focus on business. Coupled with our attentive service and celebrated cuisine, it is an exceptional choice for Honolulu meeting rooms.
Lewers Lounge Banquet Room
Located on the first floor of the historic Main Building, Lewers Lounge is a sophisticated space with timeless interior design and plush furnishings. The unique ambience — with dimmable lighting, beautiful 18-foot wooden bar, and surround sound system — provides the perfect location for intimate receptions for up to 50 guests.
The Lounge features a 1,056 square foot main room with bar and a 374 square foot adjoining side room, for extensive entertaining options. Both rooms provide ample seating, including sofas with coffee tables, chairs with seating tables, and a comfortable space for standing.
Garden Terrace
With its glass-paneled French doors, the almost 1,300 square foot Garden Terrace seats up to 80 guests for banquets. Outdoor cocktail receptions for up to 600 guests can take advantage of the adjoining lush and well-maintained Garden Courtyard, which offers an additional 6,400 square feet of entertaining space.
Kawehewehe Lawn
With a stunning backdrop of iconic Diamond Head framed by the blues of the Pacific Ocean, Kawehewehe Lawn provides a picture-perfect venue for an intimate ceremony.
The lawn seats up to 20 guests or can accommodate up to 20 guests standing under our palm trees.
Garden Courtyard
Our Garden Courtyard, next to our Main Building, flows to the Garden Terrace and Ballroom, so it is a popular choice for outdoor weddings and events.

Halekulani’s chefs create one-of-a-kind dishes for your event from Hawaii’s freshest ingredients, so you and your guests will enjoy a signature meal that perfectly complements your day.
Menus include coffee, decaffeinated coffee, and selection of teas.
Creating special menus for your event
Shaden Sato, Banquet and Events Chef, oversees all aspects of the hotel’s Catering and Banquet cuisine.
Starting his career at Halekulani in 2002, Sato began as an apprenti in the Main Kitchen, deepening his experience and knowledge under a variety of expert Chefs.
He has created menus for special events at the hotel including the Hawaii Food and Wine Festival’s Annual Gala dinner and many property events for the hotel. His dishes have been showcased at the most prestigious Imperial Hotel Halekulani Fair in Tokyo and Osaka.
