Planning a wedding at Halekulani is effortless, whether you are a kamaaina (local) or considering a destination wedding. Our catering and banquet team will help with every last detail to help with the perfect wedding.
Our dedicated catering managers will work with you to find out the best area for your wedding, whether it be an intimate gathering or a large event. Ceremonies are normally held in the Garden Courtyard, Hau Terrace, and the Kawehewehe Lawn, overlooking the ocean and Diamond Head. Reception areas would also include the Ballroom, which can hold up to 300 of your guests.
Halekulani focuses on service and quality by customizing each couple’s experience to ensure that their day is special. This is important as we are helping to create a lifetime memory.
We have 24 hour In-Room Dining and are able to coordinate Spa Hair and nails in the privacy of your guest room. With advance notice, wedding gowns can be steamed on the same day through our in-house laundry facility. Halekulani makes it easy for you to enjoy your memorable occasion.

Hau Terrace showcases a spectacular view overlooking the Pacific Ocean and Diamond Head, perfect for your Waikiki beach wedding. Surrounded on three sides by glass-paneled French doors that open to a 3,200 square foot lanai, Hau Terrace is ideal for ceremonies and receptions.
This spectacular space seats 120 guests. With its iconic views, its sense of place, its seamless blend of indoor/outdoor space and Halekulani’s signature service, Hau Terrace defines the most exquisite destination weddings Hawaii offers.

Glass-paneled French doors open to adjoin the courtyard to the terrace. The Garden Terrace can accommodate up to 80 guests for banquets. The lush courtyard can also provide additional space for wedding ceremonies or bring a tropic feel to outdoor cocktail receptions.
Celebrate your special Oahu wedding day in our elegant Halekulani Ballroom. Large enough to accommodate 250 of your guests, the ballroom overlooks the beautiful Garden Courtyard.
Framed by teakwood paneling, our ballroom is pillar-less, allowing for unobstructed viewing of the wedding party from all locations.
Large enough for a celebration, but still intimate enough so you and your guests can enjoy the day together, our Halekulani Ballroom exudes a graceful elegance.
Kalia & Kiawe Rooms
Two of our most intimate settings, the Kalia room and Kiawe room are located on the second floor of the historic Main Building. Both rooms overlook a tranquil courtyard, ensuring intimacy and privacy, rare in Hawaii wedding destinations.
The Kalia room can accommodate up to 40 guests while the Kiawe room accommodates 30 guests, making this setting ideal for smaller luncheons and dinners. In addition, the rooms can be combined to welcome up to 70 guests.

Our Hawaii wedding packages offer a diversity of culinary options. Choose from buffet menus to plated meals or live cooking stations. Our on-property bakery can also craft your dream wedding cake. Our chefs and catering team will work with you to develop the menu of your choice. For smaller parties, you might select a set menu for lunch or dinner in Orchids or La Mer.
