HIFF ‘Ōpio Fest 2026: Hawaii Int’l Film Festival Presented by Halekulani

As Hawaiʻi International Film Festival enters its 46th year, HIFF ‘Ōpio Fest presented by Halekulani returns as a continued celebration of the next generation of storytelling.

Building on the momentum of its debut, HIFF ‘Ōpio Fest carries forward the spirit of HIFF’s Spring Showcase while deepening its focus on the future of film. The program brings together standout international cinema, anticipated premieres, and selections from leading festivals such as Sundance, alongside a vibrant platform for Hawaiʻi’s emerging creatives.

Through family-friendly screenings, industry panels, and hands-on workshops, ‘Ōpio Fest invites audiences of all ages to engage with new voices, fresh perspectives, and the evolving landscape of global cinema.
