It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas…. Decorations are up and we are delighted to share this year’s “12 Days of Christmas” countdown. - December 14 – Holiday Welcome Drink: Enjoy a festive holiday beverage in the Halekulani lobby.
- December 15 – Hawaiian Shave Ice: Refresh with a Hawaiian “Snow Cone” for the holidays by the pool until the “snow” melts.
- December 16 – Heavenly Hula: Learn how to hula with Halekulani hula dancer Kanoe Miller under our over century old Kiawe Tree at House Without A Key.
- December 17 – Holiday Photo Scavenger Hunt: Celebrate the holidays by joining our photo scavenger hunt. During your stay, refer to the list on our social media (Facebook, Instagram, & Twitter) tagging your photo finds with @HalekulaniHotel and #HalekulaniHolidayMoment, then visit the front desk to redeem a special prize.
- December 18 – Storytime with Mrs. Claus / Ugly Sweater Christmas Caroling: Mrs. Claus will make an appearance and give a special story telling by our cozy Living Room fireplace. Enjoy homemade holiday gelato and iced tea while listening to Mrs. Claus. Also, show off your ugliest Christmas sweater and join us for caroling in the Living Room where refreshments will be served.
- December 19 – Honolulu Hale Illumination Tour: Enjoy complimentary transportation to and from Honolulu City Hall to view holiday decorations, displays, and see the iconic Honolulu Hale Christmas Tree.
- December 20 – Visions of Sugar Plums: Delight in gingerbread house and cookie decorating with the help of Halekulani’s staff. Individual sets of gingerbread, cookies, toppings, and frosting kits will be provided to each participant.
- December 21 – Holiday Lei Making: String a lei for yourself or loved one with flowers from Hawaii in our Living Room.
- December 22 – Hawaiian Holiday City Lights: Enjoy a trolley ride to see our Honolulu City Lights.
- December 23 – Holiday Craft Cocktail Class: Join our Lead Mixologist, Tuda Grehan, at Garden Terrace to learn how to make creative and delicious holiday-themed libations.
- December 24 – Children’s Christmas Party / Holiday Manager’s Reception: Keiki (children) to meet and greet Santa at their own Halekulani Christmas party, where they can have their picture taken with Santa, participate in fun activities, and take home a gift. Guests can enjoy festive food and drinks at Hau Terrace.
- December 25 – Housekeeping Christmas Caroling – Hear the delightful chorus of our Halekulani Housekeeping team celebrate Christmas morning in the public areas.
