Lewers Lounge, known for its contemporary jazz music nightly Tuesday through Saturday, is bringing back Live at Lewers, a special two-night event featuring award-winning musician Jeff Peterson on Thursday, October 26th and Friday, October 27th.
Since the launch of Live at Lewers in 2013, these concerts bring classical and new talent such as Tony Bennett, Diana Krall, Blythe Kelsey, Robert Cazimero, and Jack Jones for a limited engagement. The last Live at Lewers event was held in 2019 with jazz trumpeter Eddie Henderson. This year, we bring this event back with Jeff Peterson, who has contributed to two Grammy Award-winning recordings and has been honored with 11 Na Hoku Hanohano Awards in Hawaii, most recently in 2018 for Instrumental Album of the Year and in 2016 for Slack Key Album of the Year and Instrumental Song of the Year.
Recognized as one of Hawaii’s most versatile musicians, Jeff Peterson is at the heart of the Hawaiian music scene today. His passion for the guitar has allowed him to shine as a solo artist and has given him the opportunity to collaborate with a wide variety of artists from Hawaii, across the US, and abroad. His focus on Slack Key guitar, classical, and jazz music has allowed him to develop a unique and transcendent voice on the guitar while being deeply rooted in the traditions of his Hawaiian heritage. The Live at Lewers performances with Jeff Peterson will take place from 8:30 pm to 11:00 pm on both evenings. Reservations are required.
Tickets are $65 per person and include two drinks and valet parking. Food and beverages will be served prior to the performance for an additional cost.
